Malcolm "Miracle" Johnston

One of the most popular jockeys of any era, Malcolm ‘Miracle’ Johnston is a superstar of the racing world. His partnership with Kingston Town between 1979-1982 was unstoppable, winning the Cox Plate amongst many glittering victories.

‘Miracle’ won 3 Sydney apprentice premierships before winning the senior jockeys title (still as an apprentice) with a massive 107.5 wins that broke Jack Thompson’s record.

Miracle also went on the win 3 Sydney premierships, one in the twilight of his career when no one expected him to, kept him in the hearts of the Aussie racing public.
